In a store, there are many situations where you will need to look for an item, ask for a price, or confirm how to buy something. Learning basic phrases will make shopping much easier.
Conversation: Buying clothes
Here is an example of a common conversation in a clothing store. Please make use of it for actual situations.
A: Buenos días. ¿Tienen camisetas?
Good morning. Do you have T-shirts?
B: Sí, claro. Están al fondo, a la derecha.
Yes, of course. They're in the back, on the right.
A: Gracias. ¿Puedo probarme esta?
Thank you. Can I try this on?
B: Por supuesto, el probador está a la izquierda.
Of course, the fitting room is on the left.
A: Me queda bien. Me la llevo.
It fits well. I'll take it.
B: Perfecto. Son 25 euros.
Perfect. That's 25 euros.
A: Aquí tiene. Gracias.
Here you go. Thank you.
B: Gracias a usted. Que tenga un buen día.
